Edwin D. White, Jr., passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, at his home in Wellman. He has been cremated, and no services are planned. The Beatty Peterseim Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Edwin Douglas White, Jr, was born December 3, 1967, in Odessa, Texas, the son of Edwin D. White, Sr, and Helen Isadora Maxwell. He graduated from Odessa High School and attended electrician trade school for one year. While in high school Edwin ran track and cross country. Edwin worked as a janitor for the Odessa School District, a Dallas hospital and was an electrician. He enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Houston Astro and the New York Yankees, and watching NASCAR.
Survivors include his brother Reginald Earl White, Sr. and his wife Lakisha M. White; two nephews: Reginald E. White, Jr., and Gerald Anthony, two nieces: Rachel Isadora White and Te’Keya Myshelle White, brother Edwin Drummond Alexander, and sister Nell; his significant other, Judy, two stepsons: Stephen Wagnor and Scott (Crystal) Wagnor, and four step-grandchildren.
Preceding Edwin in death were his parents Edwin D. White, Sr, and Helen Isadora White.
