Edwin A. Wicklund

Edwin A. Wicklund, 88, of Iron Mountain passed away on Friday, Aug. 29, 2025, at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center. Edwin was born in Norway on June 22, 1937, son of the late John and Ann (Bachman) Wicklund. On Oct. 23, 1965, he married Carol (Spigarelli) Wicklund, sharing 50 years together before she preceded him in death on Aug. 4, 2016. Edwin enlisted with the U.S. Navy in January 1956 serving nearly 2 years before he was honorably discharged in November of 1957. I saw my Dad drive his truck in the ditch His crabby mood could rival a witch But his soft side was found With his grand kids around We'll Miss you , you old son of a gun He was one heck of a bowler. Edwin will be missed by his sons, Eddie Joe (Faith) Wicklund, Stevie (Rinda) Wicklund, and Eric (Amanda) Wicklund; grandchildren, Patrick Wicklund (Tarissa Host), Reina (Isaac) Jenkins, Danielle (Josh) Spackman, Taylor Wicklund, and Max (Kylie) Wicklund; great-grandchildren, Russell Spackman, Ruby Jenkins, Mack Spackman, and another new Jenkins on the way; and many other family and friends.
