Efrain Bohorquez

Efrain was a loving, dependable and kind man. The best uncle, an amazing brother, son and friend. The impact that he had on his family and friends is unmeasurable. Always willing to sacrifice and give his all to help others achieve the best version of themselves. Among his loved ones there is an overwhelming sense of gratitude for having him been a part of our lives.
Efrain always showed strength and always worked hard even in difficult circumstances. He was sharp, curious, fun, adventurous and always open to have a great time. He liked going on road trips, going for a hike, bowling, grabbing a drink or two and enjoyed trying new foods. He needed no map, he had a mental map, probably from his days of working as a trucker.
A fierce adversary when playing any game and a truly skilled basketball player. When spending time with Efrain you could always expect a smart comment, a joke, and a great smile. He was a man that liked seeing what was out there and enjoyed getting people involved, and wanted to share his joys with others. A one of a kind.
We will carry his memory with us always, cherishing the moments we shared. He will forever be loved and missed.
Visiting hours at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Monday August 5 from 5-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church 169 Cummins Highway Roslindale on Tuesday August 6 at 11:30 am. Interment St. Michael Cemetery.
Efraín era un hombre cariñoso, confiable y amable. El mejor tío y un increíble hermano, hijo y amigo. El impacto que tuvo en su familia y amigos es inmensurable. Siempre dispuesto a sacrificarse y darlo todo para ayudar a otros a alcanzar la mejor versión de sí mismos. Entre sus seres queridos hay un sentimiento abrumador de gratitud por haber sido parte de nuestras vidas.
Efraín siempre mostró fortaleza y siempre trabajó duro incluso en circunstancias difíciles. Era astuto, curioso, divertido, aventurero y siempre abierto a pasar un buen rato. Le gustaba viajar por carretera, hacer caminatas, jugar a los bolos, tomar una copa o dos y disfrutar probando nuevas comidas. No necesitaba ningún mapa, tenía un mapa mental, probablemente de sus días de trabajo como camionero.
Un adversario feroz a la hora de jugar cualquier partido y un jugador de baloncesto verdaderamente habilidoso. Al pasar tiempo con Efraín siempre se podía esperar un comentario inteligente, una broma y una gran sonrisa. Era un hombre al que le gustaba ver lo que había ahí afuera y le gustaba involucrar a la gente y quería compartir sus alegrías con los demás. Único en su tipo.
Llevaremos su recuerdo con nosotros siempre, atesorando los momentos que compartimos. Lo amaremos y extrañaremos por siempre.
Horario de visita en la Funeraria Brady & Fallon, 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station), Jamaica Plain, el lunes 5 de agosto de 5 a 8 PM. Se celebrará una misa fúnebre en la Iglesia del Sagrado Corazón, 169 Cummins Highway, Roslindale, el martes 6 de agosto a las 11:30 am. Entierro en el cementerio de San Miguel.
