Eileen Adams

Eileen M. Adams-Rockey age 63, passed away on Saturday May 27, 2023 at her home in Philadelphia. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was a lifelong resident of the city. Eileen was a 1978 graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Independence Community College. She was an employee for many years as the Director of Respiratory Therapy at Kindred Hospital. Eileen loved being on the beach soaking up in the sun, her latest obsession became golfing. Eileen had a heart of gold and there is not one person she came across that she didn't brighten up their day or was more than willing to help. She lived for her two son's the moment she became a mother she lived every second, every moment, every achievement for them Jonny and Tommy. However, Above it all Her biggest joy in life, her happiest moments came from having her grandchildren and spending time with them. Her grandchildren became the light of her day. Eileen was an unforgettable woman she will forever live on through our precious memories of her, thoughts and prayers.
The Loving daughter of Lillian (Coons) and Thomas Rockey, she is also survived by her:
Children Jonathan and wife Ivonne and Thomas and wife Jessica;
Her sisters Dianne Getz, Michelle Cahill and Jacqueline Dewan,
Her grandchildren Thomas, Jr., Joseph, Michael, Mia, Gia and Andrea and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to her Life Celebration on Saturday June 10, 2023 at the John F. Givnish Funeral Home, Inc 10975 Academy Rd. Philadelphia from 1:00 TO 3:00 PM, where her funeral service will be held at 3 pm. Interment will be private.
