Eileen M Bosek

Eileen M. Bosek (née Sutton), a resident of New Providence, NJ and Haven Beach, NJ passed away peacefully on the morning of January 29, 2025, at the age of 94. Eileen was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Eileen was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was the devoted wife of the late James J. Bosek, with whom she shared 55 beautiful years of marriage after their wedding in 1951. Together, they built a loving family, raising their four children in Metuchen, NJ before moving to Parrish, FL during their retirement years. She is survived by her children, Ellen Bosek McMahon, Kathleen Bosek Murray, James Charles Bosek (Diane), and Richard William Bosek (Betsy), ten cherished grandchildren, Meghan McMahon, Kerry Dobis (Jim), Ryan McMahon (Marin), Thomas Murray (Chelsea), Christopher Murray (Brennan), Kevin Murray (Kerry), Kristin Bosek, Timothy Bosek (Sara), Lindsay Marten (Jake) Connor Bosek (Elli) and eleven great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored. Eileen was pre-deceased by her sons-in-law, Thomas J. Murray and Edward (Skip) R. McMahon.
A woman of many passions, Eileen found great joy in cooking and baking, especially during the holidays when her homemade Christmas cookies became a cherished family tradition. Her welcoming kitchen and endless entertaining created memories that will live on for generations.
Summers spent on Long Beach Island were among Eileen's most treasured times, filled with family gatherings, beach days and shared laughter. LBI became more than just a place – it was the heart of family traditions where her children and grandchildren came together to create unforgettable memories.
Beyond her dedication to family, Eileen also gave her time to the community, volunteering at John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison, NJ, where she dedicated many years of service. Her kindness and generosity touched many lives. She was an avid golfer and a member of the Metuchen Country Club in New Jersey and the River Wilderness Country Club in Florida.

A private memorial service will be held this summer on Long Beach Island for immediate family members.
