Eileen Francis Sutton of Gretna, NE passed away September 11 ,2025.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clair, daughter Tracy Swalberg and son Daren Sutton. Survived by Daughter Cindy (Robert) Sedlak, Grandchildren Quinn (Lyndsey) Swalberg, Todd Swalberg (Victoria), Madison Sutton, Mason Sutton (Savannah), Great grandchildren Braelynn, Beckett, Mia and her sister, brothers and friends.

Eileen was a homemaker and raised a family with Clair. She worked side by side with Clair running a seeding and grading business. Later in life she decided to pursue her lifelong ambition to become a nurse and help others. She worked as an obstetrical/gynecological LPN for 27 years until retiring.

She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed being outdoors whether it was gardening or playing with her dogs, cats, goats and horses,

Words cannot express how much Eileen was loved and will be greatly missed.

Visitation Friday 9:00 - 10:00 AM at church. Memorial Mass Friday (9/19/25) 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church 508 Angus Street Gretna, NE. In lieu of flowers, Memorials to the family.
