Eileen Kayne Grossman was born September 28, 1936 in Montevideo, Uruguay. She moved with her family to Michigan when she was 9 years old. Eileen became a very accomplished teacher for Novi Public schools. She taught 6th grade Math, Science and English and was much loved and respected buy her students and co-workers. She was a consummate hostess for her friends and family; a wonderful cook and baker, famous for her Black-magic/Earthquake Cake. Eileen loved to travel with family and friends, trips to Europe, cruises and all over the country. She was a voracious reader and a winning mahjong player. Her book club and Mahjong groups were a favorite part of her life. She enjoyed and supported all the arts including fine art and theater.
Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, and eldest son, Eric. She is survived by her adored brother Jerry, loving sons Bruce and Michael and daughter in law Susan. Her nieces and nephews have fond memories of many joyful times with "Auntie Een ". She will be missed by her many friends who will always remember her welcoming heart and kindness to all. She passed away June 11, 2025 in Myrtle, Beach South Carolina.

A celebration of life will be held at 644 Hemlock Ave. Myrtle Beach SC 29577, On June 28, 2025 from1-5 pm.
