Michael Douglas Arrington

Michael Douglas Arrington age 60, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at his residence.

Mike was born in Baltimore MD to Sandra and Billy Arrington. He served with the Myrtle Beach police department and continued his love of law enforcement as the owner of Phoenix Security Solutions.

Mike was a lover of life and never knew a stranger. Everyone who was blessed to know him, loved him. An avid practical joker and talented at story telling, he entertained and brought joy to everyone around him. He could often be found singing karaoke, playing trivia with his mom, or creating memories with his many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; Billy Arrington, brother; David Scott Arrington and both sets of grandparents.

Mike is survived by his mother; Sandra Maloney of Murrells Inlet, Sister; Jennifer (Kevin) Nadeau of Illinois, a niece; Megan (Renee) Nadeau, a nephew; Garrett (Alyssa) Nadeau, great nephews; Graeson and Sawyer; his beloved dog Mojo and many friends whom were considered family.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to the Grand Strand Humane Society at grandstrandhumanesociety.com.

His celebration of life will begin with a visitation at 4:30 PM with a service to follow 5:30 PM on Tuesday March 17, 2026 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
