Eileen M. Mandel, 69, of Marquette, MI passed away suddenly on August 26, 2025.

Eileen was born in Buffalo, NY on July 25, 1956 to William and Delores (Russell) Beitz. She also had an identical twin sister, Kathy, who she adored. Eileen moved to the Detroit area when she was young and graduated from Ladywood High School in Livonia, MI. She then graduated from Michigan Tech University with a degree in nursing.

Eileen married William J. Mandel on May 12, 1996 at St. Maurice's Parish in Livonia.

Eileen was a nurse for four years in Iron Mountain, MI., and then spent over 20 years as an oncology nurse at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, MI. She's then had a second career assisting her husband, Will, in their electrical contracting business, and managing their second business, Harbor Towne Storage. She had a wonderful way of dealing with people, and she was well thought of.

Eileen loved watching golf every weekend and football in the fall, particularly the Detroit Lions. She was always interested in who the new up and coming quarterbacks were and was very knowledgeable. She liked the home-life and any activities she could share with her husband, Will, such as camping and going to estate auctions. Eileen was also a dog lover, enjoying over the years her best buddies, Zina, Baby, Dina and presently, Dani.

Eileen is survived by her husband, William Mandel; her siblings, Bill (Gail) Beitz Jr., Paul (Kathleen) Beitz, Kathy (Bill) Wilson and Brian (Cheri) Beitz. She also leaves behind her beloved in-laws, Charles (Sharon) Mandel, and Christopher (Jenny) Mandel; as well as many nephews and nieces who she loved and followed closely, and cousins and good friends from all over.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Delores Beitz; her beloved brother, Jim Beitz; and her in-laws, Frances and William Mandel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 10 a.m. at the Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica in Royal Oak, MI.
