Eileen Barbara McNelis

Eileen Barbara McNelis, 90, of Medford Lakes, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at home, surrounded by her family.
Born in Camden, NJ, Eileen lived in Pennsauken, NJ, before moving to Medford Lakes in 1973. She was a graduate of Merchantville High School, and retired from Conrail in Philadelphia, PA. Eileen loved to spend time at home reading and watching old movies. In her spare time she enjoyed going to the gym for her workouts. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Wife of the late Bernard L. McNelis, Sr.; she is survived by her five children, Bernie McNelis (Lisa), Maureen Nayowith (Steve), Pat McNelis (Sonny), Dan McNelis, and Stephen McNelis (Beth); her sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Andy Taormina; 7 grandchildren, Michael, Eric, Tricia, Mac, P.J., Sam and Chris; two great grandchildren, Charlotte and Evelyn; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, from 10-11AM, at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main Street, Medford, NJ. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11AM, at the funeral home.
Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
