Eileen Micklus

Passed away on September 3, 2025, at the age of 89.

Beloved wife of the late Francis Micklus. Loving mother of Michael (Laura) Micklus, Geri (Steve) Bartrem, Larry (Nancy) Micklus, and Stephen Micklus. Proud grandmother of Brad (Lauren) Bartrem, Amanda (Steve) McSherry, Ryan (Rachel) Micklus, Nicole Micklus, and Sean Micklus. Cherished great-grandmother of Cameron McSherry, Kylie McSherry, Blake Bartrem, Claire Bartrem, Noah Micklus, Sophia Micklus, and Jackson Micklus. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Eileen dedicated many years of her life to her family's business, Detroit Industrial Electric Company. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Louise de Marillac in Warren, MI, where she was active in the church community.

A lifelong Detroit sports fan, she especially enjoyed cheering on the Red Wings and Tigers. Known for her computer skills, Eileen loved teaching others and sharing her knowledge. Most of all, she treasured time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 3:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 E. Fifteen Mile, Sterling Heights.

Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 11:00am, with Instate at 10:30am at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 14115 E. 14 Mile, Sterling Heights.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Eileen's honor.
