Eileen Margaret Pages, 91, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, July 18, 2024.
Eileen was born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 13, 1933 and was the beloved daughter of the late Margaret (Gallagher) O'Keefe and Daniel O'Keefe. She attended schools in the Boston School System and was a graduate of Girls High School in Boston.
For many years, she was self employed as a caretaker for the elderly.
In her free time she enjoyed crocheting, cooking and reading. Eileen also loved the outdoors, taking trips to the beach, swimming, and was an avid walker her whole life. She never drove a car especially living in the South End of Boston, she was so proud to walk everywhere she went. In her younger years, she traveled to many destinations throughout the United States visiting her sister frequently. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family and friends who she loved deeply.
Eileen is survived by her two daughters, Susan Amaral and her husband Michael of Nashua and Joanne Pages of Nashua; her two granddaughters, Laura Auger and Elizabeth Swett and her husband Josh. She is also survived by her three great-grandchildren, Noah Auger, Riley Auger, and Caroline Swett as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Claire, Shelia, Terry, Bobby, and Donald as well as her former husband Arthur Pages.
Relatives and friends are invited to Eileen's visitation on THURSDAY, July 25th from 5 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her interment will take place at Forrest Hills Cemetery in Boston, MA.
