With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Eileen Pietrzak, on March 11, 2025 at the age of 98, surrounded by her loving family. A woman of grace, resilience, and impeccable style, she lived her life with elegance and an adventurous spirit that, in 1947, carried her across the ocean from England to America on the Queen Mary, where she built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories with her husband and love of her life Robert, of over 40 years.
Born on February 28, 1927 in Cinderford, Gloucestershire, England, Eileen was a woman ahead of her time, exuding elegance in everything she did. Whether she was dressed to the nines for a special occasion or effortlessly chic on an ordinary day, she carried herself with poise and confidence that inspired those around her. She had a keen eye for beauty, not just in clothing but in life itself-finding joy in the little moments, cherished family traditions, and always making those she loved feel special. She always treasured spending winters in Florida and enjoyed outings to play the slot machines at the casino.
Above all, she was devoted to her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and her wisdom, humor, and boundless love will forever be cherished by son Glyn Teribery, (Beverly), daughter Marie Ford, (Kevin, Sr), daughter Linda Vorse, and daughter Laurie Colao, (Joseph); along with grandchildren Matthew Teribery; Jennifer Adams (Brady); Kevin Ford II (Lexie); Gabrielle Colao; Jordyn Astorino (Drew); Alexa Stiles (Jake) and nine great-grandchildren. Strong-willed, she taught her family to find beauty in the everyday, to face life with courage, and to never underestimate the power of a well-chosen accessory. Your legacy will shine on, as timeless as you were.
She is preceded in death by husband Robert Pietrzak, son Allan Teribery; parents George and Violet Mills, sisters Kathleen and Betty (of England).
Friends are invited to call on Sunday, March 16, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Brugger Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Blvd., and are invited to a funeral mass at Blessed Sacrament Church on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
