Eileen Pomroy Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Homelani Memorial Park on Jan. 30, 2026.
Eileen Puanani Pomroy, 55, of Mountain View, Hawaii was called to the Lord on January 15, 2026.

Born on February 26, 1970, in Honolulu, Eileen was raised in Ewa Beach alongside her five siblings. She was the owner and operator of Eileen Pomroy Care Home located in Mountain View.

Eileen was the kind of person who always made sure everyone else was good first. She was loving, generous, and took care of everyone, whether you were family, friends, or someone who just walked through the door. She was an amazing cook and her contagious laugh could fill a room and make you smile no matter what kind of day you were having.

Ohana was everything to Eileen. She lived with true aloha, always giving, always caring, always showing up. Her faith as a Catholic helped guide her through life, and she carried it quietly but strongly, leading with kindness and compassion.

Eileen was preceded in death by her mother Bernice Murakami (Belmodis); her sister Andralyn Lozada (Murakami); and her brothers, Brian Murakami and Daryl Murakami.

She is survived by her husband Lenny Pomroy; her children Shawnee Pomroy (Chance Agpoon), Kona Pomroy (Sarah Lips), and Kiliona Pomroy; and her beloved and cherished grandchildren Addison Pomroy (8), Blake Agpoon (7), and Alaina Pomroy (4), who brought her so much joy and filled her life with purpose and love. She was the caregiver for her father Tatsuo "Peanut" Murakami and brother Andrew Murakami, whom she cared for in her home in Mountain View. Her brother, Clyde Murakami, resides in California. Her love and care extended beyond her own children as she opened her heart and home to her hanai sons, Makana Fraser and Kapono Ige, as well as many of her children's friends, who she cared for as her own. She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A private viewing and service will be held for immediate family.

Eileen will always be remembered for her big heart, her open home, and the love she shared so freely. She may be gone from our sight, but she will forever remain in our hearts.

Our ohana would like to extend a heartfelt mahalo to all who have offered love, prayers, and support during this time.

"Her children rise up and call her blessed."
