Eileen T. Wolf

Eileen T. Wolf, 74, of Downingtown, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at her home with her husband by her side. She was the loving wife of Michael A. Wolf, Sr., sharing 43 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia on May 13, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Elizabeth Stroup McElroy. Eileen graduated from St. Hubert's Catholic High School in Philadelphia in 1969 and received an Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy from Philadelphia Community College. After a fulfilling career in Respiratory Therapy, she transitioned to a long and rewarding career as a paralegal until retiring in 2012.

In 1963 at the age of 12, Eileen was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. She expertly managed her diabetes throughout her life, and was an advocate for research. She contributed to several studies to help advance research, and her hope was that one day they will find a cure. More recently, along with her husband and dog Zack, she loved to travel in their motorhome. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband Mike, is her son Michael A. Wolf, Jr., husband of Claire, of Brookline, MA; grandchildren Lana and Jasper; sisters Joan Sheldon of Cape Coral, FL and Carol Camm, wife of Joseph, of Cape Coral, FL; and many cherished in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two brothers Michael McElroy and Robert McElroy.

Relatives and friends are welcome to a visitation on Saturday, December 20th from 9:45 AM – 11:30 AM at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335, followed by a brief liturgy service at 11:30 AM.

A Celebration of Eileen's life will follow at 12:00 noon at Downingtown Country Club.
