Marlene M. Wolf, 93, of Fremont, OH passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital in Fremont. She was born on April 12, 1932 in Fremont, OH the daughter of Ralph W. and Quenlyn “Meg” (Kreilick) Smith. She was a 1950 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.
Marlene married Thomas F. Wolf on June 5, 1952 at St. Joseph Catholic Church and he preceded her in death on December 29, 2024. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she helped with the funeral lunches for years. Marlene enjoyed baking, cooking and playing pinochle with her friends and family. She was an avid Buckeye and Guardians fan. Marlene loved to spend time with her family. She was also a member of the Women of the Moose, Eagles and V.F.W. Aux.
She is survived by her children, Michael Wolf, Martha “Marty” Zamora, Ronald (Jodi) Wolf, all of Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Rachel Zamora, Jennifer Zamora, Logan (Tori) Wolf, Collin (Bryleigh) Wolf, Tyler Wolf, Amethyst (Joe) DiModica, Andrew Wolf and thirteen great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas Wolf; daughter-in-law, Pamela (Parker) Wolf; son-in-law, Albert Zamora and sister, Janet Smith Birkholz.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 8:30 am to 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 709 Croghan St, Fremont, OH 43420.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 am following the visitation at the church with Fr. Matt Frisbee officiating.
Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials can be made in her honor to St. Jude’s’s Children’s Hospital.
