Bartholomew “Bart” Allen Reardon, 52, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 6, 2026, after a brief illness at his home in Fremont, OH. He previously resided in Cleveland, OH for twenty years where he made many memories and friends. He was born on September 18, 1973, to James U. and Marcia (Sevitts) Reardon. Bart was a 1992 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and then went on to earn advanced degrees in IT.
Bart had a deep appreciation for music, with a particular fondness for collecting and listening to vinyl records. He found joy in relaxing with classic television game shows, especially "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy." Bart’s love of travel took him to many remarkable places, including Iceland, Ireland, France, The Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, The Hoover Dam, and coastal Maine. Of all these destinations, his favorite was Lake Huron, which held a special place in his heart. In addition to his many interests, Bart adored his cats and cherished the companionship they provided.
Bart is survived by his mother, Marcia Reardon; siblings, Jacqueline (David) Growel, Charles Reardon, Rebecca (Jon) Long, Patrick Reardon, all of Fremont, OH; former wife, Carla Reardon; special cousin, Tim Reardon; seven nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles, cousins and several close friends.
He is preceded in death by his father and infant brother.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
A Memorial Service will follow visitation, beginning at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Bart’s honor to the Sandusky County Humane Society, 1315 N River Rd, Fremont, OH 43420.
