Eilene Fritzler was born in Longmont, CO, to Henry and Ida Brehm in 1938. Eilene was a twin growing up in Weld county with 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Eilene's favorite memory of growing up is getting together with aunts, uncles, and cousins for canning, butchering, and holidays.

Eilene helped her parents with their dairy, and later worked as a nursing assistant at Weld County General Hospital. She met and married the love of her life, Gerhart Fritzler. They moved to Wiggins, Colorado, where their daughter Katherine was born in 1963. She later moved to a farm in Fort Morgan where she helped her husband raise corn, pinto beans, and sugar beets. Eilene raised chickens, ducks, and geese.

Eilene loved her pets, including several pugs, German shepherds, and cats. Her latest loves were Shadow and Whiskers. She enjoyed her crafts, especially quilting, fabric painting, embroidery, and crocheting

Eilene was an active member of the Lutheran Church of our Redeemer, serving on the altar guild for many years.

Eilene is survived by her daughter, Katherine; many nieces and nephews; grand nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews. Eilene also loved her caregivers, Tammy Rodman and Ann Jimenez.

Memorials can be made to Lutheran Church of our Redeemer.
