Elaine Allen, 80, of Watkinsville, Georgia, passed away on September 15, 2025.
Elaine began her career in banking at The Bank of Madison in Madison, Georgia. She later moved to Watkinsville, where she continued her career at Oconee State Bank, working there for many years. Elaine enjoyed crocheting, singing, sewing, and telling stories, and she was dearly loved by her family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, Richard “Ricky” Miles, Tracy (Jennifer) Allen, and Steve (Teresa) Allen; her sisters, Eleanor Dickerson and Sharon McSwain; and many nieces and nephews.
Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Allen, and her siblings R.C. (Bell) Miller, Ella Louise Miller, Emma Jean (Russell) Depew, Billy (Mable) Miller, Annie (Bob) Sears, Tommy (Ruby) Miller, Clarie (Rodney) Miles, and Linda (Richard) Griffiths.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025, 1:00 PM, at Grace Fellowship Church, with Pastor Tony Vismor officiating. Burial will follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 11:00AM – 1:00PM.
The family takes comfort in knowing that Elaine is at peace and reunited with her loved ones. “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” – Psalm 23
