She was born on September 21, 1949 in Grand Island, NE the daughter of Bud and Doris (Klanecky) Starky.
On July 8, 1988 she was united in marriage to Patrick J. Allen in Topeka, Kansas.
Survivors include her husband Patrick of Phillipsburg; ½ siblings: Billy, Bobby, and Anita Starky; brother's-in-law Tom Decker and wife Kim of Enterprise, KS, Terry Truhliska and wife Susan of Ellensburg, WA, and Bruce Reynolds of Ellensburg, WA; and sister's-in-law Kay Medlin of Spring Hill, KS and Michelle Brown and husband Jeff of Lyons, KS.
Funeral services will be held at the Phillipsburg Wesleyan Church at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2025 with Pastor Randy Garner officiating. Burial will follow in the West Cedar Cemetery, Phillips County, KS.
Mrs. Allen will lie in state from noon until 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Phillipsburg Wesleyan Church or the TFC Connection.
