Elaine Alves Obituary
Born in Falmouth, Elaine graduated from Falmouth public schools. She worked at the Falmouth Town Hall for many years and was a parishioner at St. Anthony's Church in East Falmouth. She also was part of the establishment of the Falmouth Little League concession stand and participated in its operations for over 25 years and conducted and participated in fundraising activities for the league. She enjoyed raising her sons and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
In addition to her loving husband Napoleon, Elaine is survived by her sons David Alves of Wayland, MA, Darrin Alves and wife Gloryvee of New York City, her sister Barbara Gomes, her brother Frank J. Rose Jr., four grandchildren, Miranda, Chandler, Curtis, Coral, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Duane Alves.
A visitation will be held at Chapman Funerals and Cremations 475 Main St. Falmouth on Thursday December 11, 2025 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. A funeral mass will be held in St. Anthony's Church 167 East Falmouth Highway East Falmouth on Friday December 12, 2025 at 11:00am. Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
