Elaine Elizabeth (Bursich) Biester, 59, wife of Richard Edward Biester, of Paoli, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025.
Born on December 31,1965 in Drexel Hill, PA she was the daughter of Mary Ann (Siwinski) Bursich and the late Edward A. Bursich.
Elaine was employed by SEI Corp as a project manager and operations specialist for more than 30 years. She was a devoted mother and wife, an avid reader, enjoyed visiting the shore in Avalon, New Jersey, and enjoyed travelling. She also loved the Philadelphia Eagles (Go Birds!), country music, her beloved Yorkie Bichon, Coco, her lemon drops, and had a passion for (shoe) shopping.
She is survived by her sons Alexander Biester and Mitchell Biester; her sisters: Suzanne (wife of Tom Rokosny), Marlene (wife of Curtis Case), Joanne Bursich (wife of Randy Giancaterino), brother, Edward Bursich, (husband of Michelle Kitchen); brothers-and-sisters-in-law Tom and Bea Biester, Bob and Cindy Biester, and many dear nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her beloved nephew, Andrew Curtis Case, mother-in-law Helen (Huber) Biester, and sister-in-law Joanne (Biester) Lloyd (late wife of Dennis Lloyd).
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 2330 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Monday, December 15, 2025 at 12:00 pm.
A visitation will be held in the church on Monday prior, from 9:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. https://www.heart.org/
