Elaine L. Gervasi
(nee Valente) On March 7, 2025, of Glassboro. Age 82. Beloved wife of John W. Devoted mother of Jerrod, Sr. (Regina), Jeffrey (Rebecca), Joel (Colleen), and the late John. Loving grandmother of Victoria, Jerrod, Jr., Curtis, Evan, Brandon, Eryn, Ryan, and Nicholas. Dear sister of Joann Valente and Annette Navetta (Bernard). Cherished daughter of the late Nicholas and Anna (nee Docimo) Valente.
She cherished preparing grand meals for family gatherings, relishing the art of cooking and experimenting with new recipes. Gathering with family and friends was a joy for her, and she made our home the heart of our family, a place where love and laughter reverberated. Devoted to her husband, John, she celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary and was the proud mother of four children. She was also a loving grandmother to eight wonderful grandchildren whom she adored and cherished. Additionally, she was a devoted sister to Annette and Joann. She brought joy and love into their lives. Beyond her family, she also loved entertaining, making our home a welcoming place for everyone.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Wednesday 9:45 – 11:15 am at St. Bridget's University Parish, 125 Church Street, Glassboro, NJ 08028. Mass of Christian Burial 11:15 am. Entombment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
In honor of Elaine's life, in lieu of flowers or other acts of sympathy, her family would encourage any donations be made to St. Bridget's University Parish at the address above.
