Elaine Mackowiak Obituary
Elaine was a dedicated employee for 33 years of Michigan Bell until her retirement in 1981. She was deeply involved in her church community and is well remembered for her warm hugs. In her free time Elaine enjoyed crocheting for her friends and family and would often crochet items for the church and local nursing homes.
Elaine is the beloved wife of 72 years of the late Arnold. Loving mother of Ann Marie (Paul) Cantu, Lynn Elizabeth (the late Ron) Nickerson, Stephanie (Dean) Nowak, and Laura Jean (Mark) Davidson. Very proud grandmother of Brian (Lisa) Cantu, Jason (Stacey) Cantu, Nichole Marie (David) Tanton, Timothy Grosser, Kenneth Grosser, Luke Cronk, Amber (Dennys) Ruiz, Elena Rose (Shad) Bustamante, Nicholas Oscar Davidson, and Nathan Mark Davidson. Also very proud great grandmother of Marisa, Dylan, Alyssa, Aubrey, Alexandra, Taylor, Maddisyn, Katie, Brianna, Kolton, Adrian, Ava, and Anden. Dearest sister of the late Adelore Wolff and the late Arnold (the late Rosemarie) Wolff.
Instate Friday July 25, 2025 from 9:30 until 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Therse of Lisieux Catholic Church 48115 Schoenherr Rd. (n. of 22 Mile Rd.), Shelby Twp. In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Mother Theresea Little Sisters of the Poor. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.wasikfuneralhome.com
