To the family. I have not been close to you in a long time. Elaine was a favorite of mine, she was a sweet, compassionate and loving woman who always placed her family first. I rember her carrot cake recipe was the best! I asked her why it was so moist and delicious, she said, Baby Food instead of actual carrots. I never did get to make one like hers, anyway it would not have surpassed the moist delicious cake of hers. She is a person who never forgot anyone even me, receiving a Christmas card from her last year. I will always hold her in my heart as the loving friend, mother, and grandmother, and sibling she was.

Ted, I am so sorry to hear of Elaine's passing. I will always remember how wonderful the two of you looked while you were dancing. Elaine had a beautiful spirit that I will miss. Prayers for you, your family and all who loved her.
