Elbert “Gray” Ketner, 75, of Germanton, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center. 

Mr. Ketner was born June 25, 1949, in Forsyth County, to Elbert Ketner and Estelle Ketner. Gray proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 8 years. He was dedicated to his family and the Lord; and his wife, Teresa, was the love of his life and best friend. 

Gray was preceded in death by his parents; and his canine companion, Maggie.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years, Teresa Ketner; his son, Paul Daniel Ketner; and his daughter, Amanda Brooke Ketner. 

A memorial service will be held 4pm Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Jesse Butcher officiating. 

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Gray’s favorite charities: St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude’s Place Memphis, TN 38105, or to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive Tampa, FL 33607 US.
