Elder Woodle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Service - Yorktown Blvd. on Nov. 30, 2025.
Elder Frankie Marie Woodle, age 81, of Asheboro, North Carolina, entered the presence of the Lord on November 29th, 2025, at Hospice of Randolph, surrounded by her family and love.

Born January 17, 1944, in Asheboro, she was the daughter of the late Bill William Woodle and Annie Woodle. Elder Frankie was the fifth of seven children. She was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Ralph Woodle and Emma Headen. She leaves to cherish her memory her siblings: Louise Goodman, Carolyn Woodle, Charles Woodle, and David Woodle, all of Asheboro, North Carolina.

Elder Frankie devoted her life to serving others - both professionally and spiritually. She was a compassionate and gifted registered nurse who cared deeply for those in need. After graduating from North Carolina A&T State University, she began her nursing career at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. She later went on to work in administration for the corporate office of Union Carbide Company. Her call to ministry and her commitment to community extended far beyond her profession. As Pastor of Mt. Nebo Holy Church in Mount Holly, New Jersey, she faithfully led her congregation and worked tirelessly to support the homeless, helping to operate a soup kitchen that served countless individuals.

Elder Frankie's kindness, strength, and unwavering faith will remain a blessing and a source of inspiration to all who knew her. She leaves behind a host of loving god-children, nieces, and nephews, as well as other relatives, church family, and friends.

She was a proud graduate of Central High School in Asheboro, NC, and of North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, NC.

Her legacy of love, service, and faith will forever live in the hearts of those she touched.

Aunt Frankie was dear to me and my family. I recalled us working endlessly on Wednesday and Tuesday picking up the pastries and bread. One of the sweetest person you will ever encounter.

I am so sorry for your loss. Shane was a pleasant person to work with and though I did not know him on a personal level, I am glad to have known him as a co-worker. I remember how quiet, kind, and polite he was in the office: I never heard a bad word or complaint about him.

My most striking memory is when he showed up to the Office Christmas Party in a bright green suit with a Holiday Themed bow-tie and matching pocket square. He definitely knew how to dress to impress!

I have collected some photos of Shane from folks in our office and wanted to share them here with you all. I know he will be missed terribly and my heart goes out to his family and friends.
