Born on Christmas, 1927 to the late Anastasio and Margaret Leone, and is predeceased by her sister, Theresa Krywe.
Eleanor grew up in Mount Vernon where she met her husband, Salvatore and was wed in 1951.
Eleanor "Ellie" was employed as a receptionist for many years at Cardinal Spellman High School in the Bronx, from where she retired in 2004 at the age of 76!
Eleanor had many friends from work and from her childhood and from growing up in Mount Vernon. She also had several special nieces and nephews and cousins as well .
Eleanor loved to cook, but most importantly, loved and cherished her husband and family, especially her grandchildren.
She was loved and adored by all who knew her and will be missed terribly.
