Kenneth (Rebecca), and 22 grandchildren: Colin (Lisa), Andrew (Siobhan), Maura (Tyler), Kristin, Shanna (Daniel) Caron, Matthew (Dana), Nathaniel (Meghan), Kyle, Jason (Angela), David (Kara), John, Sarah (Andrew) Avery, Brendan Avery, Kelly Avery, Aubrei (Ben) Formisano, Melissa Barton, Benjamin
(Sarah), Nicholas, Christopher, Alexandria, Michael, and Luke; and 9 great-grandchildren, Peter, Jacob (J.R.), Estelle, and Gabriel Caron, Theo Formisano, Theo, Hayes, Preston, and expected baby of Jason and Angela.
Eleanor is survived by brothers and sisters, Joseph (Ann) Bayer, Mary Elizabeth (Dennis) Kumpfmiller, William (late Dolores) Bayer, Florence (late Lawrence) Haywiser, Helen Mae (late Richard) Setzenfand, Frank (Mary) Bayer, Anna Jane Bayer, and Roberta Bayer; and brothers and sisters-in law, Mildred
(late Donald) Brandt, Cathy (Will) Snyder; and predeceased Amy and Bill Johnston, Arthur and Faye, Jack and Barb, Lloyd and Maryanne, Betty and Edward Wilk, Jean Sabatowski (surviving Richard and
Maryanne), and Diane Swedish. Eleanor enjoyed projects inside and outside, sitting in the sun, and volunteer work as an usher at the Benedum for many years, decorating the Knights of Columbus Shrine and other activities as a member of St. Malachy Church in the Archangel Gabriel Parish.
Family and friends will be received at McDermott Funeral Home at 334 Forest Grove Road on Monday, November 7 from 6 – 8 PM and Tuesday, November 8 from 2-4 PM and 6 – 8PM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Malachy Church at 343 Forest Grove Road on Wednesday, November 9 th at 9:00 AM. Entombment will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 11 AM.
