Mrs. Eleanor Eddy

Eleanor Miriam Eddy of Davenport, Florida, passed away peacefully at the age of 85, in her home, surrounded by her three children on October 30, 2022. She was born on January 29, 1937. Formerly from Millville, she taught school in the Bridgeton area and continued to do so in Florida. During and after teaching, she enjoyed a career at Disney World that spanned over 25 years. She continued to be an avid Phillies fan and enjoyed going on cruises and playing cards or mahjong with her many friends. Ellie, as she was known to many, was an animal lover who especially adored her dogs ChiChi, Radar, and Daisy.
She is survived by her are sons, Douglas Cossaboon (Sandy) of Millville, Rodney Cossaboon (Anne) of Ohio; her daughter, Suzanne Rogers of Florida; her granddaughters, Chloe Rogers of Florida and Holly Horvath of West Virginia and her great grandchildren, Noah and Lyla Horvath. Eleanor was predeceased by her parents, Marie and Royal Eddy; her siblings, Dorothy Peterson, Janet Deutsch, Roberta Papcun and her grandson, Dougie Cossaboon.
Funeral Services were private at the request of the family, and a Celebration of Life will be held on her upcoming birthday. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to any charity of your choosing.
