Eleanor M. Fleck

Eleanor M. Fleck, 85, of Mishawaka, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. Eleanor was born on November 20, 1936 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Vern Joseph and Thelma Agnes (Thompson) Fountain. On August 31, 1957 she married Joseph B. Fleck III in Regina Colei Catholic Church. Joseph preceded her in death on December 1, 2021. Eleanor is survived by two daughters, Althea L. (John) Price of North Liberty, Indiana, Linda A. (Patrick) Thorpe of St. Joe, Arkansas, one grandchild, Kristen Price, two great grandchildren, Kammie Leigh Almeida and Tara Dawn Harrison, two great grandsons, Braxton and Braedon and one sister, Margaret "Peg" (Ray) Diehlman of Toledo, Ohio.
Eleanor worked as an office manager for J.B. Fleck and Sons. Eleanor was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church since 1974. She was a past president of the South Bend Snowmobile club, past secretary of South Bend Cruising Club and Gypsy Rovers Camping Club. She is an avid Cubs, Bears and Notre Dame fan.
A visitation for Eleanor will be held on Tuesday June 21, 2022 at Christ the King Catholic Church in South Bend from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am in the church. Eleanor will be interred in Highland Cemetery at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church in Eleanor's honor. Online condolences may be left at www.kaniewski.com
