Eleanor K. Mann

Eleanor K. Mann on September 27, 2025, her 103rd birthday answered God's call at St. Luke's Hospice, Bethlehem. Born in 1922 in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Anna and Jon Kwietian, and the loving wife of the late Edwin D. Mann for sixty-one years, until his passing in 2003. She was a faithful member of St. Franics of Assisi Church in Allentown. Her more than twenty-year career at H. Leh and Co. was a source of pride and accomplishment. Love, resilience and strength defined Eleanor. She was an exceptional wife, mother and nana, and a fastidious homemaker and outstanding cook, who delighted her family with delicious meals and memorable holiday celebrations. She was always there to support and help her family in their endeavors.

Eleanor is survived by sons, Edwin (Jane), David (Gloria), and Donald, daughter, Sharyn (Daniel) Koplish, seven grandchildren: Lori Shollenberger, Jennifer Mann, Jamie Whisman, Edwin Mann III, Lisa Rice, Susan Koplish and Sara Koplish, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by grandson Jessie Mann, brothers Edward (& Jay) Kurecian, Richard (Clara) Kershner, Jon Kwietian, Carl John Kwietian, and sister Mary (& Paul) Carwell.

Eleanor leaves behind a legacy of love and great memories. She had the biggest heart!

Services will be on Friday, October 3, 2025, at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 1046 W. Cedar Street, Allentown. Calling hours will be held at the church from 9:30am-10:45am. A mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00AM

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted the O'Donnell Funeral Home, Allentown.
