William "Bill" Shoemaker, 76, peacefully passed away in his home on Tuesday September 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. William was the husband of Frances C. (Kern) Shoemaker, and they celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary this past June. Born in Lehighton, Bill was a son of the late William A. and Madelyn (Young) Shoemaker. Bill was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Orefield. For over 40 years he was the owner and operator of Bill's Plumbing and referred to himself as a "Master Plumber". Bill loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. But most importantly he loved his family. Bill will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Surviving with his wife Fran are their daughters: Tammie wife of Daniel Sensenig, Kerrie wife of Scott Cadden, Hollie wife of Orlando Bonilla and Cristie wife of Joseph Famularo. Brother: Douglas Werner. Grandchildren: Scott Michael, Zachary, Theresa, Orlando, Caitlin, Cassandra, Nicholas, Samantha. Great Grandchildren: Bradley, Kamryn, Bennitt, Lyla, Anastasia, Arya, Charlotte, Samson, Elya. Bill was predeceased by his daughter Cassie and his sister Marion.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30AM on Thursday October 2, 2025, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Orefield. Calling Hours will be 6:00-8:00PM Wednesday October 1, 2025, at the O'Donnell Funeral Home in Allentown and 9:30-10:30AM on Thursday in the vestibule of the Church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society or the American Heart Association.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the O'Donnell Funeral Home in Allentown.
