For many years Howard was a self-employed CPA in the Lehigh Valley. Howard proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Howard loved his family, grandchildren and fishing at the lake house on Lake Ontario.
Surviving with his wife Joyce are his children; Daniel D. and spouse Amanda of Yardley, PA, and Caitlin M. wife of Samuel Zook of Leesport, PA. His sisters: Irene Kurpicki and late husband John, Nancy Gerardi and late husband Ron and Andrea wife of Tony Turek. Howard has five grandchildren; Charley, Heidi, Gus, Wilson and Myles. Howard was preceded in death by his son Christopher M. In 2008.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday September 30, 2025 at 10:30 am in St. Joseph the Worker. Calling will be on Monday from 6:00-8:00pm in the O'Donell Funeral Home, Allentown, and on Tuesday from 9:15-10:15 in his church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Howard's memory to Alzheimer's Association, LVHN of Philanthropy Attn: Susan Raines PO Box 1883 Allentown, Pa. 18105, or St. Joseph the Worker.

"A Vietnam Veteran has passed away today." Howard, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow Vietnam Veteran. We all are grateful for your stepping up to the plate when your country needed you the most. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to begin, ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow war veteran.
