Eleanor (nee Berry) Weiss McGill, 86, of Old Bridge, passed away on October 12, 2022 at Roosevelt Care Center Old Bridge. She was born in New Brunswick, NJ to Kenneth A. Berry and Winifred Rigler Berry and settled in Old Bridge for the past 62 years. Eleanor attended Nursing School where she attained her Registered Nurse status and later worked for National Lead and Emory Manor. She was a communicant of Good Sheppard Church.She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend and will be greatly missed by all.
Mrs. McGill is predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Winifred Berry, her first husband Robert V. Weiss, and second husband Walter R. McGill, brother, Kenneth Berry, sister, Winifred Baumann, nephews, Ken Berry Jr. and Kevin Baumann.
She is survived by her sons Robert V. Weiss Jr. and his wife Carlene and Victor W. Weiss and his wife Marylee, grandchildren, Robert V. Weiss III and his wife Patrice and Paige Theresa Weiss and her partner Andrew Gill,, sister, Karen Sciarappo, nieces and nephews, Gina Zarro, Troy Scaroppo, Kevin Berry, Karen Berry, Keith Berry, Thomas White Jr, David White, and Sharon Baumann and longtime care taker, Vivian Asantewaa.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 4-8PM at the Old Bridge Funeral Home, 2350 Route 516 Old Bridge, NJ 08857.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 10AM at Old Bridge Funeral Home, 2350 Route 516 Old Bridge, NJ 08857
Interment will immediately follow at the Dutch Reformed Church Cemetery, 429 Main Street, Spotswood, NJ 08884.
