Eleanor Theresa Moeller passed away peacefully on September 10th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family while a resident of the Tupper Center in Tupper Lake, NY. She was born Eleanor T. McKillip on November 5th, 1937, in Saranac Lake, NY. She lived a life filled with love, devotion, and unwavering strength.
Eleanor was predeceased by her mother Edwinna McKillip, father Charles McKillip, sister Mary Gary, brothers Pat and Paul McKillip and sons James and Matthew Moeller.
Eleanor was the proud mother of ten children. She is survived by Mark (Susan) Moeller, Deborah McCormick, Gina (Dave) Bell, Paul (Fran) Moeller, Tracy Kemmerer, Timothy (Michelle) Moeller, Terry (Wendy) Moeller and Richie (Becky) Moeller. Her legacy continues through her eighteen grandchildren: Elizabeth and Zachary Moeller, Jessica King and Conor McCormick, Tennile and Brandon Moeller, Ryan and Jonah Moeller, Clarence, Kayla and Scott Bell, Will and Mackenzie Kemmerer, Nicholas and Shawn Moeller, Marissa Moeller and Amanda and Jake Moeller - and fourteen great-grandchildren, all of whom cherished her deeply. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Taffy Mace and nieces Heather and Kim.
Eleanor's life was marked by her deep faith, her love for family, and her quiet resilience. She found joy in the simple things and was a source of comfort and strength to those around her.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St Alphonsus Holy Name Church on Thursday September 18th at 10 am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Homeward Bound Adirondacks, PO Box 1100, Saranac Lake, NY 12983 in support of our veterans.
Eleanor will be remembered with love and gratitude by her family and all who knew her.
