A Funeral Mass for John Hache, age 75, of Tupper Lake, will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 10:00AM at St. Alphonsus Church. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 3:00PM to 6:00PM at Frary Funeral Home, Tupper Lake. Mr. Hache passed away on Sunday morning, October 5, 2025 at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake. Arrangements under care and direction of Frary Funeral Home.
He is survived by his son, Patrick Hache, of Tupper Lake; granddaughter, Bella; his siblings, Gary (Pamela) Hache, of Hagerstown, MD and Mary (Rudy) Rivera, of Ladson, SC; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dave Hachey for his friendship and all the help he gave John.
John was born on April 10, 1950, in Tupper Lake, NY, the son of the late Lawrence and Pauline Payment Hache. He graduated from Tupper Lake Central School and went on to Schenectady Community College where he received an Associate's Degree. John enlisted in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged before going to work as a correctional officer. He retired from Adirondack Correctional Facility after 25 years.
He enjoyed skiing and riding motorcycles, passions that reflected his adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors. Winter was his favorite season-he truly lived for the snow and the thrill of the slopes. Whether carving down a mountain trail or cruising on two wheels, he embraced every moment with energy and enthusiasm. His joy for these pursuits was contagious, and he often inspired others to share in the excitement of the ride and the beauty of the season.
Donations in his memory, may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
