Eleanor "Ele" Rose Moesch, 91, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025 in the caring arms of her family at the very home she was born in.
Ele was born October 3, 1933, to the late George and Anna Styzinski on the family farm in Angelica, WI. She married Harold Moesch on August 29, 1953. They moved to Green Bay, WI, where she lived until 2002 when she moved back to the family farm.
Ele graduated from Pulaski High School in 1951. She was employed at St Vincent Hospital for 30 years, first as a CNA, and then as the front desk receptionist until her retirement. A devoted catholic, she was a member of St Joseph Church from 1961 to present.
After moving back to the family farm, she enjoyed gardening and canning all the fruits and vegetables you can imagine. She meticulously maintained her beautiful country flower gardens, which were a sight for all to see and enjoy. Ele loved cooking and baking, serving up the most delicious meals and tasty desserts to her family and friends. She also enjoyed sewing, sharing stories of the past, watching Wisconsin sports, and listening to polka music.
Ele's biggest passion was her love for her family and friends. She selflessly raised her two sons and made sure they always had what they needed to succeed in life. Maintaining relationships with her family was always a priority, as she enjoyed all the family gatherings through the years. There was no greater joy than the arrival of her grandchildren, who she cherished more than can be imagined, and who she dedicated her love and time to until her passing. Whether it was attending school activities, cooking delicious meals, or taking them on special adventures and shopping excursions, she was always there to support them in any way possible. They meant the world to her. Recently, she was blessed with the addition of two great-granddaughters, who always brought a twinkle to her eye and a smile to her face.
Ele is survived by her son Dan (Diane) Moesch; grandchildren Kalyn (Ryan), Kristin (Carlos), Aaron (Morgan); great granddaughters Camila and Stella; special nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Ele was proceeded in death by her son Randy, parents George and Anna Styzinski, brother and sister-in-law Richard and Cathryn Styczynski, and brother Robert Styzinski.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Green Bay. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Erick Ondieki. Burial will take place at Assumption BVM Cemetery, Pulaski at a later date.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services at 11:00 a.m.
