Eleanor M. Cavallaro Tuttle, 77, of Hamden, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 9, 2023 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Wayne Tuttle. Eleanor was born in New Haven on July 14, 1945 and was the daughter of the late Neal and Antoinette Guarino Cavallaro. She had worked as a receptionist for TruMark Financial for many years. Eleanor was a member of Columbiettes, she was a devoted member of St. Rita's Church where she volunteered much of her time. She was the type of person who enjoyed helping others, Eleanor will be missed by all who knew her. Mother of Joseph (Kat) Cirillo Jr, Michael (Trish) Cirillo, Stephen (Jennifer) Tuttle and the late Stephanie Tuttle. Grandmother of Benjamin, Lucille, and Anthony. Sister of Verna Voulgaris, Richard (Lisa) Cavallaro and the late Salvatore Cavallaro. Also survived by several step grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to Saint Paul the VI Parish at St. Rita's Church on Saturday morning, January 14 at 10:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following in Oak Grove Cemetery, West Haven. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929.
