She was born May 7, 1936 in Fulks Run, VA to the late Loy (Sock) and Maude Miller Hess.
Eleanor and Carroll owned and operated Yankey's Grocery in Fulks Run. She attended Mountain Grove Brethren Church in Fulks Run.
Her husband, Carroll Thomas Yankey preceded her in death on May 5, 2019.
She is survived by her son, Sam Yankey and wife Martha of Fulks Run; grandchildren, Sky Yankey and wife Kali, Katie Yankey Landes and husband Timmy; great grandchildren, Branson Yankey, Riley Landes, Sadie Landes and Clara Yankey.
She was preceded in death by her son, C.T. Yankey, Jr.; her brother, Harrison Fulk; and grandson, Chase Yankey.
Burial at Mtn. Grove Cemetery will be private. There will be no viewing or visitation at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.

I met this sweet lady when my mom was at Willow Estates she always would say I love you I brought her sweat shirt from Smokey mountains she was so proud RIP BEAUTIFUL ANGEL
