She was born May 29, 1943 in Harrisonburg and was a daughter to the late Roy Edgar and Eunice Irene Fulk Turner.
Jean retired from Marshall's in Bridgewater. She was a graduate of the Broadway High School Class of 1961 and was also a member of Mt. Carmel United Brethren in Christ Church in Fulks Run.
On March 26, 1965 she married James Robert Fulk, who preceded her in death on May 29, 1996.
Surviving is a daughter; Faye Strickler and husband Mike, of New Market, a grandson; Timmy Nesselrodt, of Rockingham, a great grandson; Theodore Smith, two step grandchildren; Heather Strickler, Michael Strickler, Jr., three step great grandsons; Bodhi, Liam, Hunter and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother; Elwood Turner.
Pastor Glen Turner and Ronnie Fulk will conduct a graveside service 10 AM on Saturday at Mtn. Grove Cemetery in Fulks Run.
The family will receive friends Friday from 5-7 PM at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway. Friends may visit the funeral home beginning at 9 AM Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Broadway Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 666, Broadway, VA 22815.
