Mary Kathryn Hulvey

Mary Kathryn "Kasey" (Fulk) Hulvey, 92, of Broadway, passed away on Friday October 17, 2025 at her residence.
Ms. Hulvey was born on May 3, 1933 in Broadway, and was a daughter of the late Grover and Vita (Souder) Fulk. She graduated from Broadway High School in 1950. Kasey became a Real Estate Broker and served as Secretary for the Harrisonburg Rockingham Board of Realtors. She later went to work for Colonial Optical Company. Ms. Hulvey was a Licensed Optician for more than 50 years.
She is survived by her three children, Kathie Jo Hulvey of Broadway, Jeffrey J.M. Hulvey of Broadway, Terry Hulvey and companion Sharon Bogle of New Market; her sister and brother-in-law, Nancy Moore and husband Lonnie of Winchester; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kasey loved all animals; her many dogs, Schnauzers, Cocker Spaniels, English Setters, Greyhounds; Tennessee Walking Horses; her favorite cats; and her flocks of Suffolk Sheep.
She is also survived by her three beloved furry babies, Sy, Sam, and Hattie.
Keeping with her wishes, her body will be cremated.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 2 until 4 PM at the Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.
Burial will be held privately and at a later date.
