Eleanore Theresa Hostak, lovingly known as "Sissy," age 93, of Parma Heights, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024. Born on January 3, 1931, in Cleveland, Ohio, Eleanore lived a long and full life, spending most of her years in Parma Heights.
Eleanore enjoyed a rewarding career as a banker with The Cleveland Trust, where she worked for over thirty years, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and customers alike.
In retirement, Eleanore filled her days with simple joys that brought her great happiness. She loved testing her luck with the lottery, completing puzzles, and indulging in the delights of home shopping with programs like QTV. Her sweet tooth was legendary, and she was always eager to sample a variety of pastries, much to her delight and to the joy of those around her.
Eleanore will be deeply missed by her surviving sister, Mary T. Yezzi, and her many beloved nieces and nephews, all of whom will cherish her warmth, humor, and loving presence in their lives.
A private service was held to honor Eleanore's life. In lieu of flowers or donations, test your luck and buy a lottery ticket in her memory-she would have loved that.
