February 8, 1931 – February 14, 2024
Elena Mueller "Auntie" (nee Buompensiero) entered God's loving arms on February 14, 2024 at age 93. Preceded in death by her husband Donald Mueller. Loving Auntie of Jean Balestrieri and Alice Preston. Step-mother of Patty Mueller and Skip (Kathy) Mueller. Also survived by grand and great-grand children. Dear cousin of the Borden, Dziatkiewicz, Zaffino, Allen, Pulito, Bonpenser, Azzarello, Bonaldi, Bertoncini, and Corti families. She was also loved and will be missed by her many friends and neighbors.
Auntie had worked and retired from Allis Chalmers. She loved gardening, feeding the birds and squirrels, shopping and finding a good bargain, traveling, yearly vacations to Cancun with her nieces, "Happy Hour" with the neighbors, cooking, baking and hosting holiday meals but more than anything, spending time with her family and friends.
Her Catholic faith was an important part of her life and she was a long time member of St. John Vianney Parish. Special thanks to Patrick Murphy who came to Auntie's home where he would bring her Holy Communion, pray & give her spiritual support. Pat would also help Auntie with an occasional chore around the house. Pat is a true Messenger of God.
We would lastly like to thank all of her family and friends who lovingly helped her live a long, happy and wonderful life in the home she cherished you know who you are!
Visitation at the Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 11:00 AM – 12:45 PM. Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
