Elena was born June 27, 2025, in Zanesville, Ohio to Amanda Marie Sickles and Rodney E. Wert. Elena loved being held, pulling mom's hair, and dumping drinks. She enjoyed throwing hand signs and using poor Kenzi's ears (Pet Dog) to sit up. Her favorite shows are Bluey and Little Einsteins.
Surviving her, are her parents, Amanda Sickles and Rodney E. Wert; grandmother, Amy Shell; grandfather, Richard Miller; great-grandmother, Donna Clark; great-godmother, Diane Jayjohn; and her aunt, Rebecca Fletcher.
Elena was preceded in death by her grandfather, Chester Shell; grandmother, Florence Fletcher; aunt, Annie May; uncle, Austin Made; and her big brother, Rodney E. Wert Jr.
Calling hours were observed from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM on Friday September 5, 2025, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home of Nelsonville, Ohio. There was a brief memorial service held at 6:30 PM.
