Beverly Ada Wert age 93 of Hudson, WI passed away July 28, 2025 at Our House Senior Living in River Falls.
She was born September 28, 1931 in Waukesha, WI the daughter of Herbert “Doc” and Ruby (Bradley) Carter. Beverly grew up and attended school in Oak Park Heights, MN.
On July 5, 1958 she and Darrel Wert were united in marriage in Stillwater, MN.
She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Burkhardt, WI.
Beverly enjoyed life and was a good homemaker, cook, and baker. Folding laundry was her specialty. She loved playing pinochle and other card games. She also enjoyed trips to the casino, a Michelob Golden Lite, and the Green Bay Packers. She was game for any adventure.
She was a loving grandmother. She would help the grandkids move when they went off to college.
For over 30 years she wintered in Arizona.
Preceded in death by her husband in 2016; parents; son Kenny Wert; grandsons James and David Wert; granddaughters Kari Waltz and Micki Dierks-Thompson; and sons-in-law Michael Waltz and Butch Liddle.
She will be dearly missed by her children Carol Waltz, Janice (Val) Dierks, Brian (JoAnn) Wert, Debbie (Brent) Jensen, Becky (Mike) O’Keefe, Kelly Liddle, and Greg (Chris) Wert; daughter-in-law Linda (Jerry) Johnson; 15 grandchildren; and many great-grand and great-great grandchildren; also survived by siblings Cece Johnson and Pat Conley.
Memorial Service 11 AM, Saturday, August 9th at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Burkhardt, WI. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Private interment Houlton Cemetery.
The family wished to thank Adoray Hospice and the staff at Our House Senior Living for their care.
