Eletha "Lee" Tufts was born on November 18, 1934 to C.Hollis Tufts and Maude (Pepper) Tufts.
Lee graduated from Westport, NY high school in 1952 and from Plattsburgh State Teacher's College in 1956 with a degree in Home Economics.
Lee married David Elrick on July 5, 1958. He died in 1982. She married Cletus Gerber on November 24, 1990. Cletus died on November 5, 2020. Lee is survived by her daughter, Sharie Elrick.
Lee loved being outside: camping; hiking; canoeing; and in later years hunting for the perfect photo. She was passionate about flowers, birds, wildlife and open land.
Her other passion was her church. She was active in Women in Mission at the Salem Mennonite Church of Kidron.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 11:00 am at Salem Mennonite Church, 3363 Zuercher Road, Dalton, with Pastor Kevin Himes officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Aultman Hospice online at Aultman.org/hospicegifts or by sending a check made payable to The Aultman Foundation, 2600 Sixth Street SW, Canton, OH 44710.
