Our beloved father Elias Sanchez Sr passed away July 30, 2023, at the age of 70 years. Elias also known as Leo or Sanchez to his family and friends was born April 11, 1953, to his parents Gabriel and Hilda Sanchez. He was a devoted father to his children Lissette Tarsia, Elias Sanchez Jr, Jose Garcia and Yvonne Beam. He loved and (teased) his 7 grandchildren Alex Galarza, Austin Galarza, Gabrielle Garcia, Miranda Sanchez, Hailey Sanchez, Dylan Tarsia and Katelyn Peron. Leo is also survived by his brother John Sanchez, brother, Louis Sanchez, brother David Sanchez, sister Sonia Nava, Yolanda Denham, daughter-in-law Kimberly Sanchez, daughter-in-law Tammy Garcia, Michael Peron, Wayne Beam and Richard Sirop. He is predeceased by his parents Gabriel Sanchez, Hilda Sanchez, brother, Gabriel Sanchez Jr, sister, Hilda Sanchez-Crespo, and brother, Edwin Sanchez. After 29 years of service with the Broward Sheriff’s Office; Deputy Sanchez is highly respected and loved by his BSO family.
He is now resting in peace with no more pain or suffering. He was a strong fighter to the end. His generosity and compassionate heart was a blessing to anyone who crossed paths with him. The heavens have gained a strong protective angel who we are blessed and honored to have called our Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and friend.
We invite family and friends to join us for the visitation Thursday, August 10, 2023, 5:00pm – 8:00pm at T.M. Ralph Funeral Homes 7001 N.W. 4th Street Plantation, FL 33317 (954) 587-6888. Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 11, 2023, at 11:00am at T.M. Ralph Funeral Homes 7001 N.W. 4th Street Plantation, FL 33317 (954) 587-6888. Entombment following in Boca Raton Cemetery and Mausoleum, 451 SW 4th Avenue, Boca Raton, FL 33432.
In lieu of memorial trees or flowers a cause he supported and dear to his heart was the Neurological Reengineering Recovery Training Services for his granddaughter Katelyn Peron. Donations are accepted to the First Step Foundation at the following link: https://form.jotform.com/63267307098967
