Elida Galvan Deleon

Elida Galvan Deleon, 86, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on November 6, 2025. She was born and raised in Anson, Texas, and throughout her life remained deeply devoted to her family and her faith as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Elida was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Brijido Deleon Jr.; her daughter, Rosemary Lora; her son, Robert Deleon; and her granddaughter, Sarah Jo Deleon.
She is survived by her sons, Gilbert and Dave Deleon; and her grandchildren Naomi Garcia, Jessica Martinez, Joanna Deleon, Crystal Rodriguez, Adrian Alaniz, Briana Alaniz, Michael Rodriguez, Gilbert Deleon, Alexis Deleon, and Desiree Deleon. Elida was also blessed with great-grandchildren Mario Garcia Jr., Emily Garcia, Victor Sanchez, Derek Crampton, Peyton Crampton, Nicholas Martinez, Cameron Crampton, Aiden Martinez, Geovanni Deleon, Scarlett Bonner, Xavian Deleon, Armani Flores, and Nova Flores. She was also blessed with two great-great grandchildren Beckham Garcia and Penelope Jungo.
Elida was known for her warm heart, her love of cooking, and the joy she found in bringing her family together. She appreciated the simple pleasures in life - a rare steak, a cold Budweiser, and spending time with those she loved most. Her strength, kindness, and unwavering faith touched everyone who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
