Elida Ramos

Elida Ledesma Ramos, 94, of Rosenberg, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 29, 2025. She was born on February 20, 1931 in McAllen, Texas, to parents, Arnulfo and Manuela Ledesma. She married A.J. Ramos on September 1, 1957.

Several years later, she and A.J. moved to Rosenberg, Texas. Elida worked at Woolco Department store for many years and then at Herfort's Diamond Ring Factory until she retired to take care of her grandchildren. She was an active member of the Latin Assemblies of God Church in Rosenberg and was a certified minister since 1994. She participated for many years in the women's group and taught adult Sunday School classes. She enjoyed reading her bible, teaching and preaching at church. She was often invited to preach at many of the Latin Assemblies of God churches in neighboring towns.

In addition to her parents, Elida is preceded in death by her husband, A.J. Ramos, her brother, Guadalupe Ledesma, and her sisters Herminia Ledesma and Esperanza Lopez.

Survivors include her son, Archie Ramos, daughter-in-law, Sylvia Ramos, grandchild, Brianne Orsak and spouse, Clayton Orsak; grandchild Jared Ramos Ferguson and spouse Jacob Ferguson; great grandchildren Kaelynn, Jameson and Adilynn Orsak; along with extended family members and many friends.

She will be remembered for her love of God and love for her family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 8, 2025 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
